thrush breastfeeding
breastfeeding and thrush?

Anyone breastfeeding having trouble getting rid of thrush? My 3 month old son and I have been dealing with it for over a month now. TMI but my nipples get so sore. I’ve tried the cream, the pill, and off course been giving him his medicine for it, however, it just doesn’t want to let up. Has anyone out there had this problem and for how long?

Gentian Violet.

My baby and I had the thrush a few months ago. We were both prescribed Nystatin, but it was useless because we just kept passing it back and forth. After only one day of Tx with the Gentian Violet, the pain and infection had begun to clear. It is available at Walgreen’s for $1.99. Ask the pharmacist for it.

Here is a link with great info and Tx advice-
