Details on Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy

Health magazines worldwide are talking about women in menopause and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). But the same question keeps popping up. What are bioidentical hormones?

Bioidentical hormones are made in a lab from plants, and they are comprised of molecules that are the same as the endogenous hormones made in a person’s body. These are not ‘exactly’ the same, but the molecules are “identical” – ergo the name bio-bidentical hormones. Bioidentical hormones are often referred to as natural hormones.

There are still a number of women who are afraid of taking hormones, and some doctors are leary as well. This is because everyone remembers the news that came out surrounding the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI). This government sponsored study that ended up with overly emphasized negative results released in May 2002, caused women and doctors to discontinue the use of hormone replacement therapy.

Some researchers and medical experts believe this initiative was oddly monitored and incompetently analyzed. This historic report was in fact on synthetic drugs with hormone-like effects, PremPro and Premarin, substances that were donated by the pharmaceutical company that had sold them since 1942. Unfortunately, the assumption was that the drugs would be found safe and effective, but in essence, nothing could have been further from the truth.

People can take bioidentical hormones in several ways: pills, gels, drops under the tongue, or via topical creams. of course there are a number of approaches to the dosing and blood levels and these have all been clumped together as “natural,” but the reality is that none of them are truly natural if they don’t mimic a rhythm that your body can recognize as natural. There is only one bioidentical hormone therapy protocol that is biomimetic – meaning it offers a standardized rhythmic, cycling of the hormones, estrogen and progersterone, and it does mimic the body’s rhythm.

Many women have been experiencing great results from this rhythmically dosed bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and have happily given their personal accounts of the menopause experiences and testimonials on the Wiley Protocol website. In fact, some of them have also made comments or provided video testimonials on the Bioidenticals Channel on YouTube.

Gels, pills and drops do not pulse in our bodies, like endogenous hormones pulse. A healthy young woman’s endogenous hormones go way up and way down low and trigger different genes; genes that grow cells, stop cells from growing, and tell cells to die.

Women go through various hormone states in life; 1) young and cycling 2) pregnant, 3) breastfeeding or 4) declining hormones. Doesn’t it make sense that number 1 — young and cycling – seems to replicate that state of hormonal health the best? Why? Because the other two templates are too hard to recreate physically and experimentally.

What this means is that women cycle up to a peak of estrogen and then the body lets it fall and then brings it down again for a second smaller peak. Progesterone peaks on day 21. Healthy women have a period that lasts for five days with a heavier flow on day two and three. Therefore, one concludes bio-identical hormones can only be truly bio-identical if the hormones for replacement mimic not only those chemically found in the body, but also mimic the natural biological process as well.

What’s more, new research is focusing on healthy hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and suggests that women must cycle their hormones and have a menstrual bleed to be truly safe from cardiovascular events. In one study a combined cyclic regimen with monthly bleeding creates a lower cardiovascular risk for women than continuous-combined estrogen/progesterone/progestin therapy, which does not cause a menstrual bleed. The study also found that overall there was no increased risk of heart attacks in current users of HRT compared to women who had never taken hormones. The main investigator of this research, Dr. Ellen Løkkegaard, is a gynecologist at the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, Denmark. She said, “The main message is that when hormone therapy is indicated for a woman, then a cyclic combined regimen should be preferred, and that application via the skin or the vagina is associated with a decreased risk of myocardial infarction.”

The observational study, the largest to look at the effects of HRT since the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) trial in 1991, followed 698,098 healthy 51-69 year-old Danish women. There is rhythm to the way hormones work, and there is a beat like music. Pills, gels, drops and static dosing do not honor the music. But the Wiley Protocol biomimetic, rhythmic bioidentical hormone therapy does. When women have enough hormones they feel good, and some even feel better than they did during their entire lives.

Breastfeeding Vs Bottle Feeding – Which Is Best?

One of the major decisions that new mothers have to face is whether to breastfeed or bottle feed their baby. Breastfeeding is the best and natural way of providing nutrition to infants, but some mothers may find that bottle feeding the baby is their best option.

Breastfeeding

Most medical professionals, including the American Academy of Pediatricians and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Associates and Practitioners, recommend breastfeeding babies especially during the first year. Breast milk provides the best nutrition during the first six months. It contains antibodies supplied by the mother to help her baby fight infections. Breast milk also contains the right amounts of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, minerals, vitamins, enzymes and hormones. A baby can benefit from being breastfed, no matter how short the time.

Apart from the obvious superiority of breast milk over formula in terms of nutrition, breastfeeding has other advantages over bottle feeding. Breast milk is easier to digest and protects against allergies and asthma. It contains certain fatty acids that promote the baby’s brain development. Breast milk also decreases a baby’s risk of becoming obese later in life. In addition, breastfeeding helps new mothers shed baby fat.

Problems in breastfeeding will only happen if things are not going well. For example, there may be an inadequate supply of breast milk, or the baby may have poor suck reflex. However, it is very rare for a mother not to produce enough milk as long as she is breastfeeding correctly and frequently enough.

The mother’s health or medical condition may have a bearing on how to feed the baby. Some medicines are contraindicated if the mother is breastfeeding. If this is the case, the mother will want to discuss the matter with her doctor.

Bottle Feeding

While breast milk is clearly better than infant formula, there is no need for you to feel guilty if you decide to bottle feed your baby. Infant formulas are getting better at matching the ingredients of human milk. And although breastfed babies are better at fighting off infections, babies who are bottle fed rarely get a serious infection as long as they are properly cared for.

If the baby has certain medical conditions that make it important to determine how much exactly the baby is receiving at each feeding, bottle feeding will allow exact measurements.

In addition, the whole family can become involved in the baby’s care, including feedings. This will give the mother more time to rest. Besides, formula-fed babies feed less often than breast-fed babies because infant formula takes longer to digest.

The primary disadvantages of bottle feeding are the high cost of infant formula and the lack of maternal antibodies that are present in breast milk. Most of all, no infant formula can duplicate the composition of breast milk.

In the final analysis, the pros and cons of breastfeeding vs. bottle feeding boils down to your personal choice.

Preparing For Breastfeeding During Pregnancy

It was good …. and I'm overwhelmed .. Is it true?

I have a baby of 18 weeks of age. My postpartum hemorrhage was stopped just before my 6 weeks follow-up appointment. My husband and I were using condoms during sex for protection and not have sex until he was about 2 months after delivery. I am also breastfeeding. I had not had my time and thought it was because of breastfeeding. I feel strange lately and still had a pregnancy test box used to know she was pregnant with my daughter a year ago. Well last night I tried it and be positive! I'm not so sure how feel at this time. I have a month and 4 years of full-time job ….. a child is a blessing, but I was not prepared for that. Could the test is accurate? How in the world that the doctor is able to say how far along I am what I never had a period?

They will do a transvaginal u / s measured baby. You can be overcome but everything happens for a reason and after the collision, I'm sure you'll do well with the two babies, even if they are near the age. Good luck!

A Comprehensive Guide to Herbs and Breastfeeding

You’ve heard there are herbs that can help stingy milk, and you know there are herbs you shouldn’t use while breastfeeding. But what if you don’t know your Pimpinella anisum from your Borago officinalis? Now there’s a book to make it all easy for you. Filled with herbs, breastfeeding tips and advice from Mama, Earth Mama Angel Baby®’s A Comprehensive Guide to Herbs and Breastfeeding is an essential reference for careful mamas who want to safely harness the goodness of herbs.

Excerpts from A Comprehensive Guide to Herbs and Breastfeeding

Helpful Herbs for Healthy Breast Milk Production

Breastfeeding is the natural way to nurture a new baby, but sometimes the Milk of Momness needs Mother Nature’s help to flow freely. Galactagogues (‘galact’ or ‘galacto’ is the Greek prefix that means milk, and the suffix ‘agogos’ means flow) are nature’s herbal gifts to lactating women, and have been used for centuries to help increase milk supply. Herbal galatagogues can help stingy milk flow from healthy mama to healthy baby. (Read the list here.)

Herbs to Avoid During Breastfeeding

Like the foods we eat and the medicines we take, some of the constituents in herbs are secreted in breast milk and are, therefore, ingested by a nursing baby. Some of the herbs on this list are included because they contain constituents that may be harmful to the mother or baby. Other herbs should be avoided because they are traditional antilactagogues used during weaning and can reduce breast milk production. (Read the list here.)

If you can’t find reputable organic herbs, or don’t know your tincture from your tisane, a blended galactagogue tea is probably your best bet. Sipping a soothing cup of tea is a great way to relax and take care of yourself, and encourages your incredible body to do what it naturally knows how to do.

Everyone wants the best for their baby, from breast milk’s disease fighting antibodies to its reputation for lowering risk of ear infection, asthma and childhood obesity, and nothing matches the bonding and precious together time that breastfeeding provides. With herbal help from Mother Nature, low breast milk is no reason to quit.

Too Much Breastfeeding

too much breastfeeding
lost too much weight while breastfeeding…?

I seem to have had the opposite problem a lot of my friends had…

Since breastfeeding I have lost too much weight, my hips have went from a 37″ to 34″ and I can’t even fit into the jeans I wore before I was pregnant…

How can I gain more weight while breastfeeding? I’ve tried eating more protein….

Eat more fattening stuff… just so you know.. many women dream to have your problem!! As long as you are eating healthy and your baby is eating healthy then you should be okay. Do you workout? Try doing some strength training so you can get toned in that area.. it will actually make you put on weight. I wish I had that problem.. I am down to 145 lbs. now and still have about 25 left to my pre-preg weight and it seems like I can’t lose any no matter what I do!! Best wishes!

The Third Trimester: Getting Closer to Your Journey’s End

The end is near and you begin counting the days to your due date. Again, fear does not go away since giving birth is another event to overcome on your way to motherhood. Like any other endings, the third trimester is a harbinger to a more exciting event in your life. With the remarkable developments in the last few weeks as pregnant mother, the last trimester is both an ending and a beginning – the end of the baby’s life inside your womb and the beginning of his journey outside as an individual. Anticipating for the birth of your child is also knowing what to expect during the last weeks of his stay inside you.

As you prepare for all baby materials for the coming of your child, your baby also gears up for getting out of the womb. Your baby needs to be equipped with a healthy and fully developed body that will help him survive the world outside. The baby continues to grow and gain weight with body systems achieving maturity. This can be the most uncomfortable moment for the mother since she begins to feel heavy and tired to move or walk longer distances. Fetal development continues while you care to complete your pregnancy planner before birth. The approaching of your due date is indicator enough that you have to practice movements or exercises that will ease up the act of giving birth especially those who are first-time mothers. For those who are planning to breastfeed, breastfeeding courses can be undergone by you to teach you of proper breast feeding techniques.

What to expect during the third trimester is that everything seems to achieve full growth potential. On week 28th, the fifteen-inch long baby is now capable to open and close the eyes and is able to sleep within 20-30 minutes. On week 29, the baby’s movement is more forceful than ever. This is because the bones are now fully developed which contribute to vigorous and frequent movements. On week 33 following the maturity of the eyes, the baby can now detect the presence of light. The 36th week is a moment to look forward to as baby learn to suck his thumb. The whole duration of the third trimester is your baby’s chance to make movements to prepare for the head down position. On the last week before your much-awaited due date, the placenta will provide your baby with antibodies to act as protection for the elements outside the womb.

The counting is nearly coming to end and you have already completed your pregnancy planner to guide you before, during and after giving birth. The end of the third trimester is now within your reach. Your baby is now a few a few moments away from your arms. Let a loving heart and a nurturing hand welcome him in his travel with you through life. What to expect with his birth can be more than the words you have at hand. Seeing him, touching him and loving him is all you can do to express your joy as the mother.

Like any other ending, the third trimester is the final stage to a more exciting event in your life. With the remarkable developments in the last few weeks as pregnant mother,  the third trimester is both an ending and a beginning – the end of the baby’s life inside your womb and the beginning of his journey outside as an individual.

Why I Chose Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding Day 3

breastfeeding day 3
3 years old baby day and not eat?

I'm breastfeeding and I'm worried because my 3 days old is not eating. It was eating at least one side every 3-4 hours, but now all the windows when I try to feed and then sleeps. My milk is bad and I'm very hurt.

My word, Do not feed your baby 3 days old formula in a bottle! Continue to offer the breast. naked to wake up when sleeping. Is it pee? Must be at least 6 wet diapers per day. Call for help from a lactation specialist if necessary. Call your local La Leche League for further support. If they continue refusing to eat, I checked with a pediatrician. If your sinuses are congested and can not be easily attached to squeeze a little milk. It's easy to do in a hot shower. Sometimes child will have difficulty holding on to a congested chest. Keep trying and not give up! Get outside help!

Domperidone Breastfeeding

Has anyone used domperidone to increase milk production?

A lactation specialist is recommended domeperidone (though never Ob I heard of) rather than Reglan. Leary I'm taking drugs approved by the FDA not that I do not know how my body will react or consequences for my baby. I feel I have tried all (fenugreek, pumping more and more frequent breastfeeding) and nothing seems to work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in the same boat. Suppose that is safer than Reglan. Domperidone This is the option with fewer side effects, has been approved by the American Academy of Pediatrics for use in nursing mothers. Unfortunately not available in regular pharmacies in the United States. It is used in Canada and other countries, but is legal in the United States a mother can be reached by the command (by prescription) in some pharmacies in the United States. Outside the U.S. (Mexico and New Zealand) do not need a prescription. A typical dose is recommended is 20 mg four times daily.

What are the good free things to do in Escondido, CA?

I go to the Lawrence Welk Resorts in Escondido, California, and I wanted to know fun free to do things people know about it. I have a baby so I'm not interested in going to San Diego Zoo, Sea World or Legoland. I was thinking of a park or zoo for young children, or something fun for my daughter 3 1 / 2 years to do so. The ostrich farm fun to visit? I can not do wine tasting, because I am breastfeeding. Thanks in advance for any help.

Lawrence Welk now has things like a water park – How old Speedo put on their surf and take a water slide? And, yes, several parks Search Escondido Escondido miserable but the park is the northernmost county of San Diego and the most per capita in So Cal if there are some that are quite interesting. weeks may Dixon visiting the lake for free. Your daughter will probably enjoy if you've rented a pedal boat, there is also a park there. Kit Carson Park in the far south Jessmond Dean in the north, both games pretty nice – they are usually crowded on weekends as well. Birthday parties, football and baseball. Rod McLeod Park was quiet on the weekends, because it is quite difficult to find. When it's hot, I take the children in areas of McDonald's indoor play – a mission and the city center and the other on the roof, north side of North County Fair in Rancho Road exit I-15 … For five dollars, you get two bags of fries, two sodas and an hour in the air conditioning of entertainment .. No zoo. No beach. Many things for the rich, nostalgic adults. Would nice to see the hundreds of old cars, hot rods and live music on Friday night in summer on Grand Avenue. or she may be frightened by all the noise and crowds strengths. There is a Children's Museum and Art Center Art Museum Mingei ago and the Circle of Queen Califia's Magic – Niki de Saint Phalle sculpture garden in Kit Carson, but my children are so active, if the activity is running and screaming, just not funny. There is a "Chuck E Cheese on Valley Parkway near the 15 and the first Saturday of each month at 9:00, you can take your daughter to one of the two of Home Depot and have a free project for hammer and craft glue. Do not be late, but can be uncomfortable. The library has a program for some children, a First concert Thursday's all free. Breastfeeding Consultant

Breastfeeding- Do you ever feel like your smothering him?

When I breastfeed, I am always afraid that his nose is being blocked from breathing. (boob up his nose lol)
But my lactation consultant says hes fine. Even if she is right, I’ll push myself away from his nose just to make sure he can breath.
Do you ever worry about this or should I stop being so worried? lol
lmao!!! I cant believe I asked that. I laughed after I read it again.

Hi, I’m a breastfeeding peer counselor.

I was worried about the same thing with both of my kids whom I breastfed for 15 and 18mos. Just this past year I have learned new information about how the baby should be latched. It’s called the “asymmetrical latch.”

Here is a video that shows the asymmetrical latch.

http://www.drjacknewman.com/anthony/videos/JN%20First%20Latch.wmv

The new way to latch actually allowes the baby to get milk more efficiently and it helps to keep the baby’s nose from being smothered. This new way of latching is being put in all the new information about breastfeeding.

Climbing out of the cot is soo scary, my 14 month old had a serious accident so firstly i suggset a crib cover or co-sleep which i now do, he can then feed when he wants and i dont have to get out of bed and he settles straight back to sleep, Or if you are trying to break the habit I suggest some calming music, a teddy, a dummy and keep trying at leaving him to selth soothe, My son didnt react well either to contrllled crying and i gave up after 2 days, But a few weeks later i retried and he now lays down listens to his musical aquarium turtle and goes straight to sleep so sometimes it comes down to the fact that they are just not developmentally ready to do it, It seems so cruel to all of a sudden inforce CIO methods when the baby is only doing what we trained them to do but it is probably the quickest way to break the habit so it kinda comes down to wether you really wanna break the habit and try tough love but if you are like me I suggest keep doing what you are doing till he breaks the habit himself, If you and your baby are not sleep deprived dont feel pressured to do what other people think you should be doing.

Diet Pills- A boon to weight loss

Introduction

There has never been any myth about the way you and I lose weight. However, the new age obesity has its own story to tell- thanks to fast-paced lifestyle, junk eating habits, soaps on T.V. etc. Enter diet pills-are they really a boon to weight loss?

People trying to lose weight often rely on the “magic” word. The diet pill industry banks upon these people trying to shed a few kilos through no sweat at all. The idea is to lose weight and lose it fast which is why it feels like a boom out there in the market. So what’s hot ‘n’ happening in the diet pill industry?

Phentermine Diet pills

Phentermine diet pills are the most readily recommended for weight loss throughout the world often in different generic names like Xenical, Bontril etc. People trying to lose weight usually prefer buying phentermine diet pills for its quick action. These diet pills though approved by FDA are meant for short term administration and should never be used in the long run.

Does phentermine work “magic”?

Phentermines are appetite suppressant and trigger the central nervous system. Yes, the “magic” officially works for the clinically obese as this medicine stimulates hypothalamus of the brain, thereby causing the neurotransmitters to reduce hunger pangs.

Phentermine – a boon to weight loss?

Definitely not!! The reason? Plenty to assure that going the natural way is the best option to get rid of fat. Phentermine diet pills contain harmful amphetamines that affect our central nervous system regulating hunger, sleep, body temperature etc. Those who suffer from heart diseases, diabetes, anxiety, thyroid, glaucoma or pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should not use phentermine under any circumstances.

People who buy phentermine diet pills must be aware of the following side-effects of the drug:

  1. Dry mouth
  2. Sleeplessness
  3. Stomach upset/Diarrhea
  4. Constipation
  5. Elevation in blood pressure
  6. Elevation in heart beat/palpitation
  7. Skin rashes
  8. Change of libido
  9. Headache
  10. Nausea and vomiting
  • Hence it is mandatory for people buying phentermines to consult doctor and take the dosage accordingly. A considerable reduction of 5-10% body weight is most encouraging through this wonder drug!

    Weight issues-go the natural way:

Ø Count your calories intake. A healthy diet with balanced nutrition can really make a difference to your body! Sugar substitutes, carbohydrates and oily food generate weight issues. Have lots of water, fiber, fruits, yoghurt and vegetables instead. Eat small and eat them in every three to four hours interval-helps keeping cellulite away!!

Ø Let’s get those muscles working. Regular exercise, walking, running, aerobic dancing etc. surely gets your body working, melts fat and keeps you in shape.

Ø Remember a good 8 hours sleep and healthy lifestyles go a long way in weight management!

Ø All the three mentioned above combined with phentermine for a short term sure works like “magic” for people with weight issues!

    Conclusion

Do not let social stigma of obesity weigh you down! The magic is up to you to spin it around with or without diet pills!

What You Should Know Regarding Natural Vitamin Supplements

The human body needs a variety of vital vitamins to aid it to function properly. Most individuals do not obtain everything they require from their diet so they choose to take a nutritional vitamin supplement every day. This is a good way to make certain you do not suffer from a vitamin deficiency. Your physician can help you to recognize the right type of vitamin supplement for you to take. You shouldn’t make the choice on your own because a number of the natural vitamin supplements out there are capable of being harmful if you consume an excess of them. You need a medical doctor or a health professional to identify which vitamin supplement is appropriate for you.

A couple groups of people that may have a higher need for natural vitamin supplements include:

·Vegetarians quite often have to take vitamin supplements due to the fact that they do not obtain the vitamins necessary that originate from animal products. On the other hand, various vitamin supplements truly do have animal products subsequently vegetarians need to read the labels closely. Just keep in mind that the majority of the synthetic vitamin supplements do not have animal products.

·Some young children ought to take vitamin supplements as well because they don’t consume a large variety of foods yet. The daily vitamin supplements can help children to prevent vitamin deficiencies.

·Women who breastfeed offer their children the finest resource of nutrients available, but that isn’t an option for every woman. A large amount of the baby milk formulas on the market contain adequate vitamins in them as well so mothers who do not nurse can still provide their babies the vitamins and nutrients they require. One vitamin that most formulas contain that nursed babies may be lacking is Vitamin D. Therefore talk to your physician concerning supplementing with Vitamin D if you are solely breastfeeding.

·The elderly commonly endure a lack of vitamins in their diet as do those with various diseases and sicknesses. A vitamin supplement can help compensate for what they might be missing from their standard diet. It is imperative to get the appropriate vitamins and minerals each day so that your body is able to operate at its peak.

If you experience a few fears, do not hesitate to talk to a physician or health professional. He or she will be available to guide you and answer all fears you experience in regards to the supplemental requirements of yourself or your child.

    Breastfeeding Too Much Milk

    breastfeeding too much milk
Can a breastfeeding newborn poop too much?

She is 4 days old and my milk just came in yesterday. At first, I was worried that she wasn’t getting enough, but now her poops are changing from the dark meconium to a looser dark green, which I know is good. My only concern: she’s pooping very often. Since midnight, she’s gone 6-7 times…normal?
Sherri, the poop should be yellow by day 5 or 6. It has to change gradually from black to yellow somehow…

Nothing to worry about. Newborns usually poop often — sometimes with every feed. And you WANT her to be pooping often — bilirubin is excreted in the stool, so the more she poops, the less likely she is to get jaundiced. (And, of course, it means that you have plenty of milk, and she’s getting plenty to eat.)

    Breastfeeding Video Search

    Yahoo warning, a confusion?

I have received a notification from Yahoo that I have violated the accounts terms hence next time my account can be deleted. But reason for it has not been given.

What comes to my mind is that perhaps, repeat perhaps, it could be that I posted some videos clips regarding breastfeeding (children) or milking boobs small clips but mostly taken from the Yahoo search engines and added on my Favourtine. If it is the reason then my mind is confused. Reason being I marked these videos as “private”. Secondly Yahoo itself is full of more adult items in its search and yahoo system for example Yahoo Groups have more dirty adult groups. So I wonder why my simply posting some video clips taking directly from Yahoo search itself or from Yahoo listings themselves can become a cause of cancellation of account.

    Can anyone guide please.

You may posted adult content in a Y!A forum that forbids it.

When breastfeeding becomes difficult – How to get the help you need

If you feel frustrated with breastfeeding, remind you why I wanted to breastfeed her baby in the first place, then run – not walk – to find the help you need to continue with breastfeeding.

Some the benefits of breastfeeding your baby.

    1. Breastfeeding creates a strong emotional bond between mother and baby. Food Breastfeeding may even help a better mother – when you're breastfeeding, your body stimulates the creation of maternal hormones, prolactin and oxytocin, can help you feel calm and relaxed. These hormones, including feeling less stressed and more rested despite sleep deprivation!

    2. Breastfeeding can make a baby too quiet. Regular contact with skin to skin that breastfeeding provides helps reduce the stress the child feels for having left the womb.

    3. If your baby is experiencing pain or discomfort, the closeness of breastfeeding can also help. In addition to physical proximity, breast milk contains endorphins that help eliminate any pain from your baby feels.

    4. Breastfed babies are healthier. According to many studies, breastfeeding your baby can help reduce food allergies, eczema, asthma, colds, prolonged childhood cancer, bronchitis, diaper rash, and many other conditions.

    5. Nursing mothers may also be more healthy. They have lower rates of breast, ovary, uterus, and endometrial cancers, as well as reduced risk of developing osteoporosis.

    5. Breastfed babies are smarter. Some studies show that breastfeeding can increase IQ of a child, and shows that breastfed children achieve more in development testing.

Breastfeeding helps the uterus return to pre-pregnancy size more quickly than if breastfeeding your baby. Breastfeeding also increases the level of the hormone prolactin, which accelerates weight loss after delivery.

If you encounter frustration breastfeeding, here are some places you can find the support they need.

    1. Please remember that your doctor can not have the answers you need. If she can not answer your questions, do not give up – just look for help elsewhere.

    2. Find someone who is specially trained to answer your questions breastfeeding as a lactation consultant or a member of the International Consulting Board Certified Lactation (IBCLC).

    3. You can also talk with a leader of La Leche League. These are volunteers who are specially trained to help mothers to breastfeed. They are listening too, and without prejudice.

    4. One of the best sources of help and support can be other mothers who have successfully breastfed their children. They can talk about their experiences and assure them that experience things that are normal. They can also give you advice and tell you what worked for them.

If you do not have problems with breastfeeding Today There is always a good idea to know what resources are available and where you can connect with other breastfeeding moms. If you ever have any concerns, know exactly where to seek help and not be tempted to stop breastfeeding before your baby is ready.
