My 2 month old has REALLY stinky gas when she drinks breastmilk. I had her on formula temporarily for a few weeks and her gas hardly had an odor at all. I’m struggling to find breastfeeding tops and wondered if anyone could suggest places (i live in the uk). What can I do to encourage her to sit up on her own? We have a bumbo seat?
We have a bumbo seat but I just feel like it doesn’t actually encourage her to sit up as much as it encourages her to be lazy and lean against the back of it and let it support her lol. We also have a boppy pillow but I use that for breastfeeding and it’s on the other side of the house in our bedroom so i’d hate to have to forget to bring it in the living room and back and fourth everyday.. when you say support do you mean you sit with baby and let baby sit on floor and sit up or do you prop them on something?

Today is my daughter’s 2 month birthday and last night she was awake every 2 hours to eat. I am exclusively breastfeeding. Would it be different if I was formula feeding, would she sleep for longer periods?
Anyway I am just looking into this because my husband said last night “just let her cry” when I knew she was hungry and so I told him he was an asshole. Then he told me it is time to put her in her own room, and again I didn’t think it was fair because I don’t want to go all the way to another room 2 times a night to nurse her!
Ok if you have any sources reguarding my issues they would be greatly appreciated!

My baby is 3 weeks and I was breastfeeding for the same duration. My nipples are cracked the first 2 weeks due to poor fixation. They have been cured by a week … no more cracked and I know the baby is right now, because it hurts more when they eat. But my nipples are still poorly every time after eating all day. I do not like wearing underwear, bras, shell nipple and breast sucking it. What I can do?? When this game? Do not want to give up breastfeeding.

just had a baby yesterday – he’s just over 24 hours old. I’ve been home from the hospital for a couple of hours now – and my breasts are in excrutiating pain. When he latches on there is sharp piercing pains that shoot through my breast – 1-10 I’d say they’re a 10 on pain level! My nipple is becoming extremely red and there’s a raised rash that is growing up my breast making the nipple *(or areola I guess?) much larger and the rash continues over my breast around the nipple area (/areola?)
Please tell me what this is and if I should be concerned? I don’t think it’s thrush… and I definitely don’t have a fever…
Also my baby is now showing red cheeks and a red chin – mayabe he’s just warm? I don’t know – trying not to be an anxious panic-y first time mother!

If you have redness or a rash that appears to be speading, it is probably mastitis, or a clogged milk duct. Contact your doctor or lactation consultant. It can be resolved so that you will be able to continue to nurse. Breastfeeding doesn’t hurt-unless there is a problem. I agree that it could also be an improper latch.
