Breastfeeding?
I have breast feed all 3 of my children.
But I made a mistake with them all. I should of breastfeed longer.
This time I want to do it right. and longer.
so help! please. My mistake with my 4 year old daughter now, was that She was not feeding any more, and she was fussy, so I gave her some sold food at 4 months and that did it. She no longer wanted to eat and I was even more worried so I had to give her a bottle with formula.
So what did I do wrong? why does this happen with babies at this age? I heard its called What is a nursing strike?. and that I should just not give up?
please any advice from anyone???
thanks ![]()
and do I have to buy a breast pump?
I mean I am a stay at home mom.
I stopped breastfeeding with them all at 4 months
The best way you can be sure to be successful with breastfeeding the next is to exclusively breastfeed and not introduce even 1 bottle.
When you hit a problem, and you feel you can’t fix it, visit a certified lactation consultant — not a doctor.
Don’t introduce food until around six months — and even then go slow and listen to your baby, they may or may not be ready.
A baby needs nothing but breast milk for the first several months, even when you start solids, breast milk is still the main diet.
“So what did I do wrong?”
You mistook her signs, you mistook her fussing for hunger.
