Breastfeeding is not rocket science. If poodles, panthers and porpoises I can, so can you.

But breastfeeding in modern society is becoming a lost art. Many mothers do not know the mothers of their own request. Until the present generation of grandmothers is misinformed about the details of breastfeeding. If you have a doctor, he can have a learning book, but rather have the bottom of a doctor who has treated successfully with four children of her own?

Here are 5 tips for successful breastfeeding.

1. Stop worrying and relax. One of the big mistake of mothers first do is worry about feeding too well. Your body knows what it does, like his baby. And unlike a bottle-feeding, no preparation. Just put the baby and get started. For the most part, you learn on the fly.

2. Nurse early and often nurse. Think it their way: what would you do if you were a poodle mother a litter of puppies? After delivery, you want to lay around, resting as much as possible, eat when hungry, and let your nurse small as you want. You probably only get up to go to the bathroom, a drink or a snack. Perhaps the mother of the man should do the same. Once your baby is born, just after counting all the fingers and feet, put your baby to your chest to make a difference. You little milk in this far, only the colostrum, a nutrient-rich liquids high in calories – the perfect food for your first baby. Breastfeed your baby stimulates the production of a good supply of milk will come in a few days. It is normal for your baby to lose some weight until the milk comes in while your baby is healthy, just relax and read Tip # 1 again.

3. Do not be a lollipop man. Given frequent nursing will encourage your body to produce a good amount of milk if breast feeding her too often can be painful suction and friction. Some babies like to suck and maintained for forever. While breastfed babies need feeding more often than bottle-fed babies every 2-3 hours is generally sufficient. Occasionally a baby will want to nurse all hours and a half, which is perfectly well from time to time, but no mother can maintain this posture for long. In addition, do not need an hour to empty the breast. Ten minutes on each side is sufficient. If you are feeding more than 20 minutes every 2-3 hours, your child is used as a lollipop man. Only you can stop it.

4. For breast tenderness, take a hot shower. If your breasts are engorged and the baby still asleep, wake the nurse if you wish. (If this happens at night, however, you may want to count your blessings and let her sleep.) If your baby disengorge is not practical for your breasts, try standing in a hot shower. Hot water flowing over her breasts often trigger a disappointment, similar to what stimulates suction. The heat will not only feel good, but the flow of milk, the pressure is relieved (and no leaks on clothes). Another option is to pump and store their milk for later use, for example, when you want to hire a babysitter and a night with your husband.

5. If necessary, combine breastfeeding and bottle feeding. There is no harm in combining breastfeeding and bottle feeding. Of course it is possible that your baby can not enjoy the formula, or can not tolerate, and breast milk (another reason to store or freeze the extra milk you have). Some babies do not like sense or form of a nipple – Try different brands of pacifiers, if it is a concern. It is also possible that your baby prefers the bottle. Some babies seem like the faster flow of milk from a bottle, and no doubt others will prefer the taste of the formula. Feed your baby when you can, and if not, do not worry if your baby should be bottle-fed while you're at work or too tired to get up every night.

Many mothers worry about their offering milk, or the size of their nipples, or ability to suck the baby. Most of the time, at least 95% of mothers, these concerns are not really the problem. If have a problem, ask someone who fed their children for advice. If that fails, consult your doctor.
