Why is there white powdery stuff on the bottom of the pot of water I boil to make formula?
I am formula feeding and boil my bottled water. Lately I’ve noticed a white powdery substance on the bottom of the pot. It’s driving me crazy. Today was the last straw! Now there is white foam on top of the water! What the heck is the matter with my water? It’s crystal clear when I buy it but as soon as I boil it there’s the white stuff. (I cannot breastfeed for medical reasons so breastfeeding nazi’s need not reply with their self-righteous BS)
If you boil the water to long it makes foam on the top of the water atleast it did when I would make formula for my son when he was younger if I took it off a few minutes after it started boiling then it wouldn’t do that.
