Are painkillers and/or sleeping pills safe while breastfeeding?
I am 28 weeks pregnant with my second baby. I did not breastfeed with my first, but I would like to try with this baby. When I gave birth to my first, I was given percocet for the pain and mild sleeping pills at night since I don’t sleep well out of my house, let alone in a hospital. So, I was wondering, are there any painkillers that are safe while you breastfeed?
I was prescribed percocet too and I am currently breast feeding my daughter. If you take them like you’re supposed to, nothing bad will come of it.
