Breastfeeding 3 month old, cramping but no period?!?
My baby has been exclusively breastfed (I do pump and have hubby give her the bottle some nights)
I have had no cramping since right after birth… except today it really felt like my period was coming… it is normal to get it this early with breastfeeding? Does it mean I am ovulating now? Was it ovulation cramps? Any ideas?
…….. I am not supposed to be on BC because of the type of breastcancer my mom has… and I am VERY sensitive to laytex… we’ve been using the “pull & pray method” Soon my husband might need to get snipped lol… We already have a 20 month old and 3 month old…
It probably is your period. Every woman is different. Some women do not get their period at all while breastfeeding and some get it the very next month.
It could be ovulation cramps. No real way to know, though.
Just FYI- breastfeeding is not birth control. Women get pregnant very often while breastfeeding. It’s an old wives’ tale.
