Adderall during early pregnancy – I would like to know if anyone has taken adderall during their pregnancy…
and sucessfully delivered healthy, happy babies. I have been taking it for ten years now (Adderall XR) I know all of the “Class C” information and have read everything I can find online. (Which is not a whole lot) I have an appointment with my psych and my OBGYN next week and will of course, ask what the safest thing to do is – however, in the meantime – I am looking for some kind of reassurance… I am about three to four weeks along and this is my second child. First one is happy & healthy but born before I even began taking Adderall and I was like “Mother Earth” during my pregnancy with him (never took ANY prescription meds) before during and while breastfeeding – and plan to be this way during this pregnancy also – but I am concerned…is there anyone out there who has had actual experience with adderall during their pregnancy??

You are probably not going to find the answer you are searching for on Y! answers. There are some really good medication forums on the internet. Do a search for Adderall and pregnancy, I was on Adderall for years but I had stopped taking it 5 months before I conceived. I am sure as long as you stop taking it soon everything will be ok, unfortunately I don’t think there are any ADD or ADHD meds that are safe during pregnancy.
