Breastfeeding and overactive let-down?
When my baby breast-feeds, I know the milk sprays and comes out too fast. We help this a little with positioning and patience, but my other breast lets down as well, and it sprays and drips everywhere making a huge mess on me, my clothes, the baby, and anything in its range. I have to place a drinking glass under the nipple just to contain it – washcloths would just get soaked and I’d go through too many. I measured it once, and it’s almost a quarter of a cup at one feeding.
Does anyone else have this problem? If so, what are some solutions, especially when nursing in public? As if public breast-feeding isn’t bad enough, having my bare breast gushing into a cup makes discretion difficult…

Word is these work really well (and appear relatively comfortable). I bought these before my first, but never needed them. The box is a little beat up since it’s been stashed in the back of the closet for years.
