nipple eczema breastfeeding
I am worried about my eczema. It is on my right nipple and is really bad. Also it might be on my back. Help!!!

The eczema on my right nipple has made it bigger than the other and it is leaking pus or fluid and sticking to my bra. Then when I pull my bra away from the nipple the dry bits come off and it leaks more. What should I do. I have steroid cream for my other areas of eczema and am not breastfeeding but I don’t want to keep using it on my nipple cause it is strong cream. Currently, what works best for me is to put a plaster over my nipple to stop friction but then it soon gets bad again if I do not use the plaster.
I am also noticing that my back is quite itchy and I am wondering if that might be eczema too. If it developed into eczema how would I apply the cream?? It is so strong and should only be used sparingly so I wouldn’t want to apply to much.
Finaly, how come only one nipple has eczema? Will the other one get it too? I hope not. Can I stop my eczema getting to other areas of my body?
Thanks So Much

I have had bad eczema breakouts in the past. The best thing to do when it gets that bad is keep the steroid cream with you at all times, and put it on as constant as possible. Call your skin doctor! Don’t go to a regular doctor, they don’t understand what you need to solve your problem, trust me I’ve been there. Tell him what is going on, and he will give the best advice. Also, the cortisone shot is very common by skin doctors for eczema. It is great when it gets bad, because it gets rid of it within a week. While waiting for an appointment, put on that steroid cream as much as possible. Good Luck!
