Nipple/Breastfeeding Question?
I am seven months pregnant and have had sore nipples once before and I used Medela Tender Care Lanolin Nipple Therapy and just wore pads in my bra and the next day it was fine. Last night I slept without a bra on so I’m assuming the rubbing on my tight shirt made them sore…I’m planning on breastfeeding. Should I use that same nipple therapy today or should I skip it and just suffer as it will “toughen” my nipples up.
No, dont stop using the Medela stuff. Once you start to nurse your nipples may get sore & dry out. so you’ll want to continue to use it. If they dry out they might crack then bleed, ouch! so keep it on hand and apply it after each feeding too. this will help
