infection breastfeeding
I’m currently breastfeeding and am experiencing an extreme pain from what I think may be a yeast infection.

I’ve been breastfeeding successfully for 1 month and I’ve recently began feeling shooting pains throughout both of my breast, even when I’m not nursing. The only way I can describe this pain is a sharp tingle. Any ideas what might be wrong? I would hate to pass something along to my little one.

It sounds like let down. Milk comes out some when you get the tingle. You won’t hurt your baby. Your getting use to feeding your baby and when you think about feeding your milk will automatically start to come out. You will have this problem for a while.
