what are normal pee and poop of newborns???
Hello, I have a 2 weeks old daughter (infant) who we (parets) think that she is having problems with stomach or other disorder….
anyway, she normally pees like 5-6 times a day and poops once in two days, before she was pooping everyday.
We feed her normally, 20 minutes breastfeeding and some formula every 3-4 hours, however we try avoid formula and give more breastmilk.
Last time when she turned little yellow we took her to the hospital and they put her under the lights to lower bilirubin levels.
Recently, she is staying calm and sleepy all the time, (sleeps about 16-18 hours a day) and asks for more and more food.
I wonder if that’s OK….
we are worried of our baby’s health….
is there anyway to make her poop ???
P.S. First time parents….
It is normal.. my baby wouldn’t poop every day either. He would have a bowel movement every 3 days till it got normal to every day which was when he turned like 2 months. His doctor also adviced to sunbath him three times a day behind a windo or inside the car (he had jundice). As long as she is peeing 5 to 8 times a day she will be fine. Yeah, babies this little sleep all day. They only wake up to be fed.
