LAM method?

Does anyone have any experience using this method of birth control?

Apparently, if your baby is less than 6 months old and you exclusive breastfeed and your period has not yet returned it has a 98% accuracy in preventing pregnancy.

Sounds a little strange to me.

But, I’m breastfeeding my 3 1/2 month old exclusively. And, just wanted to see if anyone got pregnancy using this – or while all three points were met.

I’m not meeting ALL the guidelines…my 3 1/2 month old daughter gets a pacifier and she goes 8-10 hours a night without eating, but my periods have not yet returned (I want them to….)

So I guess so far it’s effective. But I know of a few women who got pregnant following the guidelines, so it’s not surefire.
