Breastfeeding question?
I have breast feeding for 2 months now. Over the past couple days I have had an itchy spot on the fleshy part of my breast. I have figured it was because my skin is drying up from runing the heat and from it getting cold. My nipple area is fine and so is my milk supply. This morning I noticed there is a little rash (probably from me itching) of little red dots.
Is there any sort of breastfeeding infection that would effect the fleshy part of the breast only? I think it is from dry skin, would the increased blood flow from breastfeeding mean that it would be more irritated?
It could be that you are over drying your skin, or scrubbing to hard when bathing. Use Dove for sentive skin it wont over dry you. It could also be your bra rubbing that same place.
