breastfeeding dilemma?
my son prefers one breast over the other and now my breasts are uneven. and the one that he does not like to latch on to is smaller than the one he does prefer..it seems like it won’t produce milk anymore. is there anyway to help even them out?? or perhaps help it produce milk..any suggestions??
Mine did that too!! You want to pump the milk out so your supply don’t decrease. You could bottle-feed him or store it in the freezer for times you are away from him.
Have you tried a different position when you feed him from that side? Maybe he isn’t comfortable on that side (teeth or ear bothering him or maybe because you never hold him on that side, etc).
My daughter would only latch on my left breast if I was laying side by side in bed with her!!
Always at least start first with his least favorite side. That way he will be starving (at least he’ll think so, lol) for food and may be desperate enough to try it!!
