Contraception dilemma! Breastfeeding your newborn! TMI Warning …?
my daughters and 24 days and I stopped bleeding. I do not tear this delivery time, grazing alone, I felt ready to have sex right away and waited to stop the bleeding. I always used condoms for contraception, but had two pleasant surprises! I clear that I do not trust condoms more too am with the Mirena coil fitted before were ready to # 3, but I can not get 6 weeks! That's about 3 weeks with difficulty, and I am desperate to regain … uh reports as soon as possible! Im breastfeeding and formula-filled so the fact I'm still Nursing affect my fertility? Any tips or advice? I really worry about if we use condoms and conceived again! Would you take the risk or wait? Is there a risk I am just minutes and be more concerned? Thanks! Oh there is another form of contraception is that I can take in the meantime, pending the coil, and during breastfeeding? Thank you all x
Nursing * * Can be used as birth control … but its effectiveness is greatly reduced if * not * * Very limited. Leading with the formula "is not only a threat to the milk (# 1), maintains the breast to be really effective enough for use as a sole control Brith (# 2). * However * Exclusive breastfeeding is 98% effective in the first days after delivery (up to 6 months or if his first term * very * exclusive "ecological breastfeeding is done) … as effective as condoms. (# 2) If you combine the two, you should have little to worry about … except the fact that condoms have a great track you. Always good to be 2%, eh? But there are other options on the road a bit. All hormonal contraceptives should be avoided until your milk supply is well established (usually after 6 weeks delivery) … but this page: http://www.kellymom.com/health/meds/birthcontrol.html discusses the use of different types during breastfeeding, in terms of safety and effects on milk production. I will not comment further because it was years * since who used hormonal contraception myself … but the page should have all the information they need. (# 3) I used once breastfeeding and lactation eco-green w / a condom once. Our personal results: 1 8 months after childbirth, pregnancy at 9 months after birth … 1st period of 8 months after pregnancy birth to 12 months after birth … and preservatives added to the period 1 to 8 months after birth and a new pregnancy to 19 months after delivery. So for now * *… I can be very careful as to breastfeed was not unique. But I do not panic. I would go with condoms and to the exclusive " its members to "save'…. then I try not to worry until you can use a hormonal contraceptive method.
