I am still breastfeeding my DS (10 months old). I haven’t had anything like a period yet, but my husband and

I had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago. All of a sudden today, I started to spot (first time since my son was born). Could it be implantation bleeding or coincidentely my period coming back? I’ve been queasy recently (like, last 5 days or so) too. I took a preg. test 5 days ago and it was neg. Since I have no previous period to base this on, should I write this off as pregnant, or period? If pregnant, when do you think i should test again?
Timeline-
Unprotected sex-April 6
First test (neg)- April 16
Spotting (period?)- April 21

Thanks guys!!!!!!!!! I appreciate your help =)

i would say take another test next week and then the following week. i was actually pregnant with my 4th child, but got a negative the first test i took which was about the same timeline as yours. i got the positive test result 2 weeks later. However in your case you have no prior menstruation cycle to count in so it is very possible your are just getting a first time post-partum period. Do the test a few more times, unless you get a full period before then. Your ob/gyn should be of some help as well.
