breastfeeding publications
Babytalk Magazine….Why is it offensive?!?

I couldn’t believe how many people were rattled by the cover of this months Babytalk Magazine which features a baby being breast fed on the cover.

“Readers of a US parenting magazine are crying foul over the publication’s latest cover depicting a woman breastfeeding, with some calling the photo offensive and disgusting.”

“Several readers said they were “embarrassed” or “offended” by the Babytalk photo and one woman from Nevada said she “immediately turned the magazine face down” when she saw the photo.”

These quotes were taken from a news website, and I just couldn’t believe how much of a BIG deal was made over this!!!

What are your thoughts?!?

I don’t see the act of feeding a baby as offensive.
I don’t see the human body as being offensive.
We all have similar parts so there are no strange surprises for the most part.

Letting a child starve would be offensive and disgusting to me.
