Is it normal that my old nurse two weeks only on one side for 10 minutes?
I have heard many conflicting reports on breastfeeding — Mother infant for two, a nurse is about one at a time, offer the other, etc. My old nurse, usually only two weeks of a chest of anywhere from 1910 to 1920 minutes before or fall down or fall asleep. Usually, they are not interested in trying the other breast. If I wake up and try? It seems ridiculous to do so especially when is clearly room. It feeds at least 10 times a day and sometimes more than that. Sometimes it feeds every hour and sometimes you can go longer between feedings. What has been your experience? We check for two weeks so hopefully tomorrow will be the weight gain and everything I've done so!
This seems normal. You will know when and if you want more – when they are young it takes time for them to slip into a kind of routine, in your case. My daughter came to four weeks and it was exactly the same, then she went through a phase of food for over half an hour (I think it has a growth spurt). Just keep doing what you do, everything seems perfect: o)
