I'm still breastfeeding my son 21 months old. How I can manage comments from others?
In particular, my family thinks I can continue to breastfeed is "and" extremely extravagant. I explained that the World Health Organization recommends breastfeeding mama of 2 years, and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends breastfeeding for at least 1 year. All temp or not breastfeeding at all or only breastfed for a couple of weeks or months, so I know their comments come from personal bias and lack of information / education breastfeeding. But that would be tough. How do I manage spam and advice on my choice to continue breastfeeding my child?
Tell them they may raise their children and do what they want. Is your son and do whatever he wants. If I like, hard, is not necessary in the interest of your reply.
