
Breastfeeding and Weight Loss- please help!?
I plan on nursing my daughter until she is 6 months at least. She is 2 months now. I already am stressed about having enough milk for her. I went back to work 3 weeks ago. I’ve been pumping at work and nursing as much as I can at home. I have also been taking fenugreek and trying to eat healthy.
So here is the thing- I’m getting married in 3 months and I want to lose weight (my wedding dress is hard to close and I don’t want to rip it or have it hemmed.) I gained 38 lbs during my pregnancy and I have lost 39 lbs since I’ve had her. I was very overweight before and have about another 80 lbs to lose to reach my goal weight. How much weight can I lose before it starts to affect my milk supply? (Like is there a rate that is too fast?)

I breast-fed my son for 15 months and lost some weight.Now,I don’t need to tell you that your daughter comes first.However,if you eat healthily and incorporate a little exercise(about 30 mins) after breast-feeding her,you should be fine.NO DIETING!!!
I don’t think you can control the rate but I may be wrong.Consult your doctor for better advice on this as what works for Mommy A might be bad for Mommy B.
