Healthcare in the US?
I live in Cananda and I read something about someone not being able to afford to go to a doctor. I couldnt imagine.
I can go to the doctor whenever I want for anything minor.
Now I am 37 weeks pregnant, I see my doctor every week
and it will cost me nothing to have the baby.
Of course it is without its faults, it is considered “reactive medicine” My grandmother had a heart attack and they will only react to life threatening problems when they arise. She ended up getting the care she needed but it did take alot longer than it would in the states. It is almost impossible to get a family doctor and there is desparate need for nurses.
That being said there are alot of free programs to keep canadians healthy and out of the hospitals free breastfeeding clinic, telehealth Ontario (free hotline to speak to a registered nurse)
what does anyone think of the healthcare systems????

I think the healthcare in the US is a bunch of crap!!!!!!!!! They rip you off on premiums and that’s if u can even afford a premium, and if you’re too poor to pay a premium, you go to the medicaid department where they’ll deny you because you’re not pregnant or disabled. But as you’re leaving the office a flock of foreigners come in to pick up their monthly medicaid cards. It’s a disgrace!!!!!!!!
