Bad cough and breastfeeding, anything I can take?
I had a cold the other week, and I thought it was gone, but all of a sudden today I developed a frequent cough, and chest pain with it, and its driving me nuts! I’m breastfeeding my 7 month old, so I don’t know if theres anything I can take or do to help with this! Does anyone know of any medications for sure that are safe for that while breastfeeding, or any good safe home remedies? Thanks!
Home remedy: rest as much as possible, and every so often eat a teaspoon of honey. My mother used to make me eat honey when I had a cough all the time.
Also if you have a humidifier, use it. 
I had a cold while pregnant, and my doctor prescribed Amoxicillin, and yes he knew I was pregnant. lol
