best bottle for baby?
I am looking for what kind of baby bottle I should get. I would prefer something not too expensive, that won’t leak, and that doesn’t have a bunch of little pieces to put together. i am planning on breastfeeding as much as possible but need a bottle for when dad takes a turn feeding or when i am not around. I need it to have a nipple that won’t confuse the baby too much going from breast to bottle. Thanks!!!!
And if it is one that would easily fit onto a breast pump that would be great!
*inexpensive
*not too many parts
*great for switching between breast/bottle
*aybe even one to reduce air/colic
Thanks everyone…and any suggestions of breast pumps would be good too!
I love Playtex Drop-Ins. The liners reduce air suction from the baby. Since the liners are disposable, you don’t have to wash or santize the bottles, just the nipples, and the liners are really cheap too, they’re really worth the convenience. My 4 month old daughter is still on breastmilk as well as formula and cereal supplement, and she’s always taken really well to them, no problems with nipple confusion. You can get a Playtex drop in starter kit for about about $25. It comes with about four nursing bottles, five nipples (2 slow flow, 2 fast flow, and one medium flow) and ten liners. Individually, a package containing one bottle, one nipple and five liners costs around $4-$5 and a package of 2 nipples costs about the same. Needless to say you don’t need a whole of bottles, because it’s not like you have to wash the bottles, you use the liners (you can get a package of 100 for about $3) and throw them away, you only have to wash the nipples. I only use one a day, so you don’t need a whole lot. I find them to be very cost effective.
