3 Month old Baby on Formula has loose stools several times a day. Is this Normal?
My baby is 14 weeks old. I started out breastfeeding but I had to switch him over to Similac w/ Iron. Her poop has never changed. It’s still kind of loose and she poops at least 5 times a day or more. She is gaining weight and has no other issues. I just don’t think his poo is normal for a formula fed baby. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
This was the case with my son as well. I breastfed for 15 weeks, then switched to formula and his stools remained loose for several weeks. After a while, they became more firm. I do not think you have anything to worry about, but definitely do bring it up to your doctor if you are that concerned. Good luck!
