Do you think that the NHS promotes breastfeeding properly?
I know they are supposed to, but I was not a word of encouragement in the hospital with my daughter. Nobody showed me how and when I asked the midwife comes to say "This is not a very good it is?". Midwives appear to be quick to disagree with bottle feeding, but provide adequate support for those of us who try. Fortunately, I found a very good nurse for children (Separately) and she helped me establish breastfeeding, but if this is a typical service, it is not surprising that many mothers abandon or not to try everything! What were your experiences in the hospital?
My hospital was great about providing support to breastfeeding. In fact, they have been too enthusiastic in point that a little confusing – were not many midwives and lactation consultants to come and they all have different tips slightly different. I think I would have preferred that only a specialist nursing to see the introduction of breast-feeding for each new mom, and here we share its methodology with the nurses not to give conflicting advice.
