What is the electric pump for the full-time work better than mothers intend to breastfeed exclusively?
I intend return to work full-time 8 weeks after the birth of my baby. I would like to continue breastfeeding while I work. Could continue to breastfeed my daughter about a month after my return to work last time because I was not producing enough milk and she Weener at least 3 months. I'm pretty sure it used the pump and the lack of available milk at work was the reason I lost my milk so fast. For those of you who have managed to continue breastfeeding while worked full time, can you tell me what you like best breast pump? Has anyone used the Lansinoh pump? Any other advice?
I used the Medela Pump In Style and it was great! I loved everything about it. You can pump both sides or one by one. I made one at a time so that I can do something during pumping (E-mail, phone conversations, etc) The pump is part of a bag with a tray that folds in front. Things you can sit on the shelf or put the whole bag his legs and has a small table. The pump works by plug or batteries. Battery life is not great but not bad either. * I would say the same pump in the car when my husband was driving when we were stuck in traffic or on a long trip! * While I worked, I had to focus on a few things to keep my milk supply. 1. I had to be careful with the stress. Too much stress and my milk would decrease. 2. Rest well. Finally, my son was weaned from my chest and not the bottle, but I kept pumping. I Dad leaves to feed at night so I can sleep! 3. Eat healthy. Since I'm at work, I get busy and miss a snack or a quick meal bad … not good. You have to eat healthy to provide your baby with good nutrition. 4. Relax. I could not to milk (although I knew he was full) so I did not take a moment to relax during pumping. Some people see pictures of her baby – who has not worked for me but reading. Try it. Good luck! If you have to eat at a meeting or early departure at the pump – Do not let your colleagues or your boss to say no. You are providing food for your baby, like when I was pregnant!
