american academy breastfeeding
My son is 5 months and have not brought him solid advice yet.need.?

He's hungry and I'm just breastfeeding. The doctor told me to wait until 6 months old.Otherwise that could become obese or have health problems. She said that is what the American Academy of Pediatrics suggests that now.Is right?

That's crazy! Both son and my daughter has been introduced for 4 months solid. She (my first) was a very big baby (but was great to have when I was 3 months before solids.) Walking then began to lose weight like crazy. Now, three years old and porprtioned. My son is very small for his size. He was thin and short. He is 19 months to 12 months if the clothes that gives a clue. When she began to eat adult food if you could say he won some weight. Although still in the weight percintile 25. This is not the baby food that makes it more weight than adult food. Unless you have a health problem your child Dely baby food, then I say go for it. Obesness worry at this age is crazy (which my doctor told me my daughter b / c she was my little budda. If you are not comfortable listening to a stranger in a document (which I do not blame you) at least get a second opinion from a doctor 2. No doc in the world is telling you to keep a healthy baby food. But my two children started at 4 months 6 months visceral and vegetables. If you try to introduce children to food without instructions doc has to start with as irrigated rice cearal crazy. Very slowly thicken. They always go 2 weeks before introducing something new to make sure no allergies. Common Insert visceral past. (Rice is easier digest, is the most difficult never mixed) introducing solids before 6 months. These are my instructions for my docs. I feel that for pastry, but I hope that helps. Good luck
